Purpose of the Collaborative:

The Metro KC Youth Collaborative seeks to bring together youth development, prevention, health care providers, and others who impact youth to share resources, network, and collaborate.  The work of the Youth Collaborative centers on the Five Promises of America’s Promise and Search Institute’s 40 Developmental Assets to bring

best practices to youth in our community.

Meeting Objectives

  1. Understand how Suicide affects our youth and ways to prevent it
  2. Engage professionals who work with youth.
  3. Provide a time for structured networking.
